Overview

Codex (ecodesusa.com) is a free, educational reference for U.S. electrical construction codes. We keep data collection to a minimum and do not sell personal information. This policy explains what is stored and how advertising works on this site.

What we store

Your language, theme (light/dark) and bookmarks are stored only in your own browser using localStorage. We do not run user accounts and do not collect names, addresses or payment data on our servers.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Where required by law (EEA/UK/California), we request your consent before personalized ads are shown.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate traffic measurement provided by our hosting platform (Cloudflare). It does not build advertising profiles of you.

Children

Codex is a professional/technical reference and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
